Christmas Cookie Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 large egg
2 tbsp 100% pure organic maple syrup
1/2 cup warm water
3 tbsp organic unsweetened applesauce
3 tbsp organic coconut oil (cold-pressed)

Directions
Start by sifting the flour, ground cinnamon, and ginger in a medium bowl.
Add the egg, and maple syrup and beat together lightly then start mixing with the flour until the mixture clumps together, then add the warm water gradually and mix.
Add coconut oil and apple sauce and mix until the dough is not sticky.
Roll out the dough on a clean floured surface. Cut out shapes using cookie cutters; place them on the baking tray.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Leave on the tray for 10 minutes and then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
